Castel Ritaldi is a small medieval village in the Spoleto area. The
holiday apartments are attached to this village, providing the ideal
combination of nice views over the countryside and yet being on
walking distance from a beautiful ancient village with bars, shops
and a restaurant. The Castel Ritaldi apartments have a swimming pool
on site and a garden with outside furniture, ideal to enjoy an
outdoor meal.
The apartments in Castel Ritardi are situated in a house built in 1200. The owners have kept most spaces the way they once were. This gives uniquely shaped apartments, with an original touch to them. The old materials they have found in the house (which has been in the family since the 1700's) have been used in the restoration. The result is an original house, rare to find, because most restorations change the nature of a building totally.
Apartment 'Anna' is on the ground floor. The apartment has one bedroom (2 + 1) with a fireplace. The bedroom has a door to the outside, the back of the house. The living area has a spacious kitchen with dishwasher, 4 pit cooker with oven and an under the counter fridge. There is a beautiful old fireplace. The doors come out onto the garden where also other guests have their garden furniture. The apartment is around 70 m2. Apartment 'Leopoldo' is on the first floor. This is a small apartment of 45 m2. There is a living room with kitchen corner (two pit gas cooker only and a small electric oven and grill), one bedroom (2 + 1) and a bathroom.
Apartment 'Gelso' is also on the first floor and has two bedrooms (each with double beds), two bathrooms and a living room with small kitchen (two pit gas cooker only and a small electric oven and grill). The surface is around 90 m2. Apartment 'Nonna Maria' has a very big private roof terrace of 40 m2. Furthermore there is a very small kitchen (two pit gas cooker only and a small electric oven and grill) with dining table. There are three bedrooms in total and two bathrooms. The apartment is on the second floor, but the private roof terrace makes up for this inconvenience. It has a surface of 140 m2.
Apartment 'Granaio' has a separate entrance at the side of the building, where the parking lot is. It has a surface of about 100 m2, two bedrooms (one is on the first floor) and two bathrooms. The living room has a seating area, a long wooden table and a good kitchen with 4 pit cooker and oven, diswasher and under the top fridge. Here it is possible to add one more bedroom and make it a 3 bedroom, two bathroom apartment.
Apartment 'Le Scalette' has a separate entrance at the side of the building where the parking lot is. It has a surface of about 100 m2. The ground floor has a living room with fire place and kitchen (4 pit cooker, oven and small firdge). The open stairs lead to the first floor with one real bedroom and the other bedroom is separated with a screen all around. There are two bathrooms, one on the first floor and the other on the ground floor.

I will double check the availability with the owners and then confirm your booking in an email. The owners ask for a 30% booking deposit, payable via bank transfer or credit card.
The house can also be rented entirely, for 26 people.
