The very friendly Italian owners of the countryhouse have a 140 ha organic farm, where they produce olive oil, the finest quality chianina meat and cheeses. Their farm is around the countryhouse, but the house, pool and fenced garden are for private use of the guests.
The countryhouse is set in the magnificent scenery of the Monti Martani with extended green woods interrupted only by picturesque castles, ancient abbeys and Roman ruins. An ideal self catering holiday in an uncontaminated environment.
Countryhouse Chianina is an ancient 17th century farmhouse in the green Umbrian countryside. The old building has been lovingly restored, maintaining the original rural structure and furnished with real antique family furniture.

We stayed in the Countryhouse Chianina at Colpetrazzo and were very pleased with the house. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They even brought us a new BBQ. The house was superb. We could imagine entire Italian families eating around the table in the large kitchen. It was charming with a large pool which we used for spectacular volleyball games with our children. Swimming when the dark had set and with the pool lights on also ensured a lot of fun for our children. In an agriturismo with more apartments it is something you'd hardly do, but here, in private, it gave a special touch to our evenings. Everything was organised well and we had a good holiday that we remember fondly. We saw a lot of sights, all easy to reach from the house. The E45 is not far away and takes you to many places. Also the supermarket was nearby, only a few kilometres towards Massa Martana. The terrace of Bar Central in Massa Martana is something to remember and they have very acceptable prices. The burìtcher of Massa Martano would be an actor for a good film, a very special little man who works with pride. His lamb ribs are gorgous. The only pionts to improve would be: The hedge around the garden could easily be topped off at least 1 metre. That way guests wouldn't loose privacy but would be able to enjoy the lovely hilly landscape beyond. When we were there the sunflowers bloomed. It would have been fantastic to be able to see these from the garden. IN two of the bedrooms there is a combination of toilet and shower in one space which is quite unpractical: toilet paper solen wet, wet floor if you needed the toilet) Thank you for all your efforts. If you also rent out near Norcia and the Monte Sibellini, or in Tuscany near Lucca, please let us know. We'd be happy to rent again via your organisation. Best regards from a very content customer. Reaction Villa in Umbria:
We enjoyed our holiday in Umbria. The house was wonderful, well taken care of and comfortable. The only remark would be that the water in one of the showers didn't drain off very well. The oven we did not use because we found it dirty. The pool was very clean and was looked at regularly. The linen service was good. What we really found a bit anoying were the insects (mainly flies) outside when dining in the garden. Best regards, Katrien
