Agriturismo Vista Castello
Close to Perugia (15 minutes drive) you will find this beautiful agriturismo with view on a castle and the beautiful surrounding countryside.
The agriturismo has 5 apartments for 2 to 6 people. There is a large swimming pool of 18 meters long, set in a lovely, well irrigated, green lawn.
The owners moved to Umbria from the North of Italy. They bought the property and restored it into very tastefully decorated apartments, comfortable and with each an outside area. The owners speak English well.
The farm produces fine quality olive oil. Furthermore the owners, real animal lovers, keep sheep, horses and several friendly dogs and two cats. The sheep and horses are not close to the apartments, whereas the dogs and cats are walking freely around the houses. Guests are welcome to bring their dog along, as long as the dog(s) are friendly with other dogs.
The ecological swimming pool is 6 by 18 meters and between 1.40 and 1.50 meter deep. The pool is surrounded by trees and umbrellas on a very well maintained lawn, kept green by using irrigation. The whole pool area is fenced.
The property furthermore has a small lake where you can fish and several walking paths for a nice stroll through the countryside. Upon request a guide can take you to the hill opposite the agriturismo where you can see well hidden waterfalls.
As mentioned, Perugia is a 15 minutes drive (13 km). The nearest supermarket is in Montelaguardia, on 5 km. The last 3 km of the road taking you to this agriturismo is not tarred but in excellent condition.

The apartments are in two different buildings. One building is closer to the swimming pool and houses three apartments. The other building has two apartments. Each building has a washing machine and a freezer for communal use. There are barbecue available. Note that the owners had not yet bought garden furniture at the time the pictures were made. Now there is proper garden furniture for each apartment.
The building closer to the pool houses apartment 1, 2 and 3. Apartment 1 and 2 are on the ground floor and apartment 3 is below apartment 1 and 2, also on the ground floor because the building is built against a hill.
Apartment 1 (one bedroom, 2+2, 40 sqm)
Ground floor apartment with big terrace with view. This apartment is next to apartment 2 and they are identical. Apartment 1 is closer to the swimming pool.
One enters in the living area with two seat sofa (can be made into a comfortable double bed) and a kitchen corner with dining table. The kitchen has an under-the-counter fridge, 4 pit gas cooker, microwave (no oven) and dishwasher. The bedroom has a double bed with two single mattresses. The bathroom has a shower.
Apartment 2 (one bedroom, 2+2, 40 sqm)
Identical to apartment 1, apart from the furniture. Apartment 2 is further from the swimming pool.
Apartment 3 (two bedrooms, 4+2, 57 sqm)
Ground floor apartment with terrace with view. Contrary to the pictures shown the terrace is now paved.
One enters in the living area with two seat sofa and a kitchen corner with dining table. The kitchen has a large fridge, 5 pit gas cooker, an electrical oven and dishwasher. Both bedrooms have a double bed with single mattresses. The bathroom has a shower.
The building further away from the pool (but still close by, less than 1 minute walk) houses apartments 4 and 5.
Apartment 4 (one bedroom and 4 extra beds on a 'mezzanine' floor, 2 + 4, 50 sqm)
One enters in the living room with unique table made of a root of an olive tree and a sofa for two. Steep stairs go to the mezzanine floor with on the living room side two beds, a wall with door and on the bedroom side two more beds. The height here is for adults to low to stand upright, but for children it is fine.
The kitchen is on the left and has an under-the-counter fridge, 4 pit gas cooker, microwave oven and dishwasher. The bedroom has a double bed with two single mattresses. The bathroom has a shower.
Apartment 5 (one bedroom, 2+2, 38 sqm)
One enters in the living area with two seat sofabed and a kitchen corner with dining table. The kitchen has an under-the-counter fridge, 4 pit gas cooker, a microwave oven and dishwasher. The bedroom has a double bed with two single mattresses. The bathroom has a shower.
