Downstairs is a large living room with a sleeping coach, a kitchen and a bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. There is also a second bathroom with a washing machine. 80 m2, Sleeps 4+2 people.
Apartment Il Ciliegio 6
This apartment also has two floors. Downstairs is the the kitchen, no living room. On the first floor is a bathroom and two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two single beds. In between floors , halfway the stairs is a third room with two single beds. 75 m2. Sleeps 6.
Apartment La Vite
Here you enter in the living room with a joined kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom. A small corridor leads up to another bedroom with two single beds. This bedroom has a veranda outside. 70 m2. Sleeps 4.
Apartment L'Olivo
This apartment has two floors. Downstairs the living room with a large fireplace and a kitchen. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, and a bathroom. 70 m2. Sleeps 4.
Apartment for 2, Il Ciliegio 2
Apartment on the ground floor, situated between Ciliegio 6 and Olivo. The entrance is in the living room, with kitchen corner and big fire place. A small corridor takes you to the bedroom and bathroom. The surface is 40 m2. Sleeps 2.

Heating is obligatory until 16/4 and has to be paid by consumption (Eur 3.50/m3), plus the fixed rate per apartment: Noce and Ciliegio 6 Eur 30, Vite and Olivo Eur 25, Ciliegio 2 Eur 20.
Prices include utilities, bed linen and towels for use in the house. Guests bring their own towels for the pool.
An extra bed is 30 euro per week. A cot (no sheets) is 30 euro per period rented. High chair is 20 euro per week. When brining a dog you pay 30 euro final cleaning extra.
The pool opens 12/5 and closes 29/9.
Rental period is always from Saturday to Saturday.

Dear Willemijn and Saskia,
we really had a very pleasant stay in apartment Ciliegio 2 of casa paciano. Giacomo and his wife received us very warm-heartedly. The home was totally what we wishes for (only a comfortable chair was missing). Enjoyed the lovely views. Beautiful surroundings, interesting town and cities all easy to reach. Furthermore the pasticceria GMB near Castiglione del Lago was very nice with their lovely bites. We also had a great meal in Panicale (at Lillo Tatini).
We were allowed to bring our dog, he could not have been better off!
In short, we will repeat this.

Dear Ladies,
we have had a very nice stay. The apartments was well appointed and very clean. The owner was very eager to help us with our questions and he was very friendly.
Lovely swimming pool, good that our terrace was in the shade in the afternoon.
Only now and then in the bathroom there was a bad small and we had to keep the door closed.

Dear ladies,
our journey was a great success. The apartment was spotless and very comfortable.
We also enjoyed the pool which was being maintained in detail every morning.
The owner and other employees were all very helpful and friendly.
The only thing that should be mentioned on the website is that the apartments do not have a TV. When travelling with children this could be handy to have. Luckily the owner helped us with this.

We do not have anything important to remark.
Positive were:
- close to a village yet a lot of tranquility and privacy (and we have even spotted a fox)
- the authentic natural character.
Also the reception and departure all went well and pleasantly.
Umbria remains our favorite. Too bad it is such a long drive from The Netherlands.

The apartments are on a wonderful location, at walking distance of the village with excellent views. It was all clean and neat and well taken care of.

after two wonderful weeks in Paciano, we went for a week to the North of Italy where we enjoyed a beautiful Aida in Verona.
Paciano was, like last time, very enjoyabel. We could arrive on the friday. The owner organised an wheelchair for me and it stood ready upon arrival. We admired the work of Giacomo and Tonino, taking care of the garden and the pool.
Nothing but praise. One negative point is having to depart from the house since the parking is on a steep hill and with gravel. Even the Audi Quattro of a friend of mine had problems here. But, as Giacomo told us, he will make sure this will be paved.
We will surely come back one day.

We really liked our holiday in Casa Paciano.
A nice holiday apartment, great view from the terrace, a pleasant village nearby, wonderful summer weather and a delightful area (but we already knew that).
Meanwhile it is the nineth time that we spent our summer holidays in Umbria and Tuscany, each time in a different location and this one is a real keeper.

Very nice location, tidy, well stocked with sheets, towels and kitchen utensils. Only drawback is the difficult access and it not being suitable for small children.
Info along the way:
We stayed in Ranggen, Austria (near Innsbruck) in Gasthof Rosemarie. Well situated, ideal with dogs, big room.

I had the intention to pass on some comments on Casa Paciano. So here goes:
On your website you mention that the village Paciano can be reached by foot, one of the reasons we chose it. According to us it should be noticed that the road is difficult to negotiate (I didn't dare drive the car on it) and in the evening pitch-dark.
Another suggestion for the owner: trim some trees so one has a view from the terrace in front of the house (Noce), or make a terrace on the side of the house so one does indeed have a view on the lake. (now it could only be seen from the bedroom window).
Paciano furthermore is a very nice old village and we had a wonderful time at the house.

The booking deposit is 30% of the rental sum and the balance should be paid a month before arrival.
The owners ask a security deposit of 150 euro.
