Accommodation in Southern Umbria with big pool: Il Mulino

Il Mulino provides accommodation in spacious apartments, each with terrace or garden directly outside the apartment. The large and flat garden has two large covered areas with garden furniture, set around a stunning 20 meter swimming pool. The Umbria accommodation is situated between Spoleto and Todi. An ideal spot for visiting the famous Umbrian towns, but also for long walks through the hills and woods. Each of the apartments has a kitchen and most have an independent entrance. Three of the four apartments on the first floor share a large terrace with outside furniture and umbrellas. The fourth terrace on the first floor has no terrace. The ground floor apartments all have garden furniture in front of the entrance. GROUND FLOOR APARTMENTS The ground floor apartments are: Il Ciliegio is a 130 m2 apartment, with the entrance on the pool side. There are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms (with shower and bath). The bedrooms are one double with added single bed, one double and one twin. The spacious kitchen has a 4 pit hob with oven and fridge with freezer, large dining table and a seating corner with double sofa bed. Apartment Il Melo has the entrance at the other side of the building. Spacious kitchen with 4 pit hob and oven and fridge with freezer. There is a double sofa bed. There is a  double bedroom with big doors to the outside. The owners keep this apartment as their office usually. The studio called Casetta is tiny house set slightly apart from the other buildings. It consists of one room only, with bathroom. There is a small table and double sofabed and kitchen corner. The studio can be rented upon special request only. FIRST FLOOR APARTMENTS The apartments on the first floor, set around the huge terrace, are: Apartment Il Castagno, 160 m2, with huge kitchen combined with living area (with fire place), 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms (with shower and bath). The entrance is at the back of the house and with internal stairs you come to a small hallway with door to a private terrace and another door to the huge kitchen. The kitchen has french doors to the big terrace shared with other two apartments. There are two double bedrooms and two twins. The kitchen is 50 m2 and also has a double sofa bed. This apartments sleeps 8 + 2. Apartment L'ulivo is 85 m2, with two bedrooms (one double and one twin) and one bathroom with shower. The kitchen (4 pit hob, oven, fridge and freezer) is also the living room and has apart from the dining table, a sofa bed for two. The entrance is on the first floor, from the big terrace. Apartment Il Pino is exactly equal to apartment L'ulivo. The fourth apartment on the first floor, shares the (internal) stairs with apartment Il Castagno and could be united with this apartment to create an apartment with 6 bedrooms and two terraces. This apartment is called Il Leccio and is 55 m2, with one bedroom and kitchen with double sofa bed. The bathroom has a shower and bath. The accommodation Il Mulino, is situated between Todi and Spoleto, close to Montefalco and Bevagna. The village on 4 kms from the apartments is 'Bastardo' (not a nice name, but I am not making this up). Here is a good restaurant and you can find several shops. The road from Bastardo to Spoleto passes Il Mulino. This is not a busy road, but from the terrace and garden you do hear the cars passing. There is a very small village on 5 minutes walk, with a small grocery shop. The accommodation has 4 bicycles guests can use. There is a table tennis table and a small area where children can play (with a swing). The pool is 20 meters long and surrounded by covered terraces. There are several barbeque areas. The garden has a few age old trees providing further shade. The owners produce olive oil.
