Events and feasts in Umbria Italy

Visiting Umbria, one should try to take part in one or more of the typical Umbria events that take place every year around the same time in the same places.

The festa and sagra in small Umbrian towns are the place to go if you like to participate in or observe the real Italian village life. Usually there is excellent food, music, dancing and a lot of happy people enjoying an evening in the open air.

Apart from these big events, there are many small sagra's and festa's of the villages, throughout the year, with food, music and town square dancing. These smaller events cen be found by looking at the posters they hang everywhere in the area. Absolutely worth visiting if you like a real Italian atmosphere, happy people and good food.

SAGRA AND FESTA IN THE PERUGIA AREA:
