Three beautifully restored apartments in Umbria, breathing the medieval castle's atmosphere, surrounded by a well kept garden.
The medieval Castle Poggiomanente contains two completely restructured apartments at different sides of the castle. The apartments have been restructured using the original materials and leaving the rooms as they were, giving a particularly antique touch to the spaces. Surrounded by olive groves, woods and some sunflower fields, the castle overlooks the tiber valley with, at the other side of the valley, the Monte Tezio and Monte Acuto. The castle is 2 km from the Umbertide turnoff of the E45 (linking Cesena to Rome) high on a hill. The enclosed gardens of the castle are well kept and have several romantic sitting areas from where one can enjoy the views. The gardens consist mostly of herbs like rosemary and lavender, apart from the characteristic old olive trees. Here you can relax in absolute tranquillity.
Il Salone is inside the castle on the second floor. It has one double and a twin bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/living room with fireplace. La Tavernetta, on two levels, is made up of a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower and living room with a single sofa bed. In the kitchen you can find a refrigerator and a gas stove. The living room gives access to the southern part of the castles garden.
