Casetta Meloni

The cottage has one entrance in front, entering the living room with comfortable sofas for 4, a desk, a dining table and on the left is the kitchen in an angle. The kitchen has a fridge with small freezer, 4 pit cooker and small oven.

Three steps down one enters the pre-bedroom, with two single beds (or two big flat sofa's if not made up as beds). The bathroom (with shower) is at the end and the bedroom is on the right. From the bedroom a door leads into the washing room with washing machine. From here one has an exit to the private garden. This is a very shady garden, under cherry trees.

The house of the owners, who also live on site, is on one end of the cottage. Guests can either sit in the private garden on the other end of the cottage or they can sit in front of the kitchen.

The pool is on a lower terrace in the garden, very private and with a lot of space around. The views from here are lovely. The pool is 6 by 12 meters. There is a gazebo for shade and umbrellas. Furthermore there is a small changing room and a separate guest bathroom. The barbecue in stone is here as well.

The owners do use the pool but hardly ever when the guests use it.

we have had a very good holiday in Casetta Meloni. The house is good. We have enjoyed our breakfast every day in front of the house with view over Ponte Pattoli and the surrounding area. The owners were very hospitable and even their dog greeted us kindly every time we returned. We have enjoyed the swimming pool, the space around it and the inflatables in the pool. The house is ideal to stay in if you want to relax one day. From the house can can visit lots, there is plenty to do in the area and even more a bit further away ((60 - 100 km). We went to Rome twice (190 km) which is a long drive but we really did not want to miss it. We parked at beginning of the metro station and took the metro into the centre.

Around the house you can walk, mountain bike, etc. We got some good maps from the Perugia Tourist Info.

We look back on a lovely holiday in e very pleasant house!

We also really appreciated your help with the booking and all info. We thoroughly recommend renting Casetta Meloni through Villa in Umbria!

Hello Willemijn and Saskia,

The house is much bigger than what we understood from your description. No problem, we really liked it.
Only downside is the amount of barking dogs in the neighbourhood.
The surrounding area is beautiful and we loved the pool.
All in all we loved this 'big house'.
The view was a bit hindered by the bushes which were kept to high to our taste. Only standing up one could see something.
When we arrived we had the idea the owners didn't exactly know how much was still to be payed.

We had a blast in Umbria and the house was above expectations.
Only thing we can mention as an improvement is the owner being able to speak some english. We received a warm welcome from her and her daughter.
