I Gemelli

The lowest floor has a garage for one car. From the garage a door leads to the hall with two bedrooms. One bedroom has a bathroom inside the room. The other bedroom has the bathroom just outside the door. Both bedrooms are doubles.
This floor also has a snooker/pool table room. A nice extra!

All bathrooms are fitted with showers.

Internal stairs lead to the first floor (that is actually the ground floor). The main entrance to the villa is on this floor. One enters in the huge living room with comfortable sitting area and open plan kitchen. There are wide windows looking out on the swimming pool area and garden. The kitchen area has a fire place and dining table for ten people.

The kitchen has a 4 pit gas cooker, electrical oven, dishwasher and big fridge with freezer. There is ample working space.

This floor also has two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with washing machine). One bedroom is a twin and the other a double.

The villa has an outside table on the piazza in front of the building. However, most guests always use the pool house for dining. Here is an outside kitchen and the better views and most privacy.

The Italian owners live in the house next to the villa. They do not use the pool area and have their parking on the other side of the house. They respect the privacy of their guests but are stand by in case it is needed.

The pool is 9 by 12 meters and has Roman steps to one side. The views are beautiful and the area is tranquil and private. There is a nice outdoor kitchen and covered are with dining table. Around the pool the terrace has sun beds, flower pots and umbrellas.

In high season change-over day is always on Saturday. Out of high season and upon specific request arrival and departure day can be different.

Availability of I Gemelli:

Dear Willemijn and Saskia,

we have enjoyed our stay in I Gemelli (we were 8 in total).

The location … beautifully situated with nive view over the hills and Todi.

Spacious house and garden. Beautiful wide windows in the house, with view over the pool and garden. Comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Big living room (where we did not spend any time at all) and spacious kitchen with all one could need.

Clean and big garden with swimming pool and … fabulous outside kitchen. Good sun beds, umbrellas etc. Just a lovely place to be, comfortable. Pizza-oven and fire place in the outside kitchen are nice extras and we used them often. The children enjoyed the other parts of the garden as well, where they searched for lizzards … a lovely experience. Really a wonderful place for a holiday, not far from Todi and other interesting cities (Perugia and Assisi) easy to drive to.

The onwers live next door to I Gemelli. They are very helpful and friendly and respect the privacy totally (we hardly saw or heard them). You can feel they really want your holiday to be the best. We can and will recommend I Gemelli to others!

we have had a great holiday in I Gemelli, everything was totally to satisfaction.

Give our compliments to the owner. She asked us every time we met whether all was fine and whether we were having a good time, this all in het English, was very nice.

Only positive, we can totally recommend this villa to everybody. We would give 9 points out of 10 to the villa and its owners.

We might have a few things that could improve in our view:

In the bathrooms a shalf where to put things on would be very handy.

A coffee maker (the Dutch kind) would be nice because we drink coffee differently from the Italians.

The lights in the lighting above the table could be stronger, when playing games there is a bit low light.

Dear Saskia and Willemijn,

I apologize it took me so long to answer to you.

We spent a great holiday in Umbria. I Gemelli was even better than it looked like in pictures. Both the villa itself and the pool area were great. Our kids spent most of the time playing and swimming in the pool when we were at "home".

Alessia was very nice and helpful. Our kids played together with their twins and grandparents. And although owners were so near they respected our privacy. It was good to know that if we have a problem they are so near to help us.

Location of the villa was good. We made short trips to the area and visited Perugia and Lake Bolsena. The other family spent a day by the sea in Civitanova and liked it a lot.

If there is something that could have been better they are the kitchen knives. They should have been sharper. And in the ground floor there were quite many and quite big spiders but that is kind of normal, I guess.

To summarize it everything was just great: our villa, the area, the owners, food and everything.

I will recommend you and I Gemelli to the ones who are planning a holiday in Italy.

We returned yesterday from the lovely I Gemelli. The house has been a real pleasure and the owners were very friendly. Alessia has been very helpful when we had problems with our rental car. We even shared a lovely barbecue dinner with them.
