Il Tartufo Perugia
Holiday rental only a stone's throw away from Perugia (you can walk to the centre in 30 minutes) yet immersed in nature. The holiday home is set in the middle of a tartufaio (a place where truffles grow) and olive grove. Nice views, very tranquil, big swimming pool … what more could one wish for?
The Perugia holiday rental consists of the main house with 4 bedrooms (each with private bathroom) and three small apartments, each with one bedroom. Total number of bedrooms (and bathrooms) is 7, sleeping 14 guests.
The lovely Italian owners, a young couple with one child, live on the property as well. They speak English and French and are very welcoming yet know how to respect your privacy. Over the past years they have restored the holiday rental themselves and finished the work with the building of the pool in the autumn of 2011.The pool is 6m by 12 m and 1.50m deep and surrounded by lawn. From here there is an open view towards the city of Perugia on the opposite hill.
Wifi internet is available. There is a washing machine for general use and a iron with ironing board. Behind the house is the large stone barbecue.

One enters the property through a wide gate giving away to a lovely drive lined with cypress trees winding its way up the hill. A better way to enter an Itaian holiday rental is not possible!
On the right one finds the kitchen with dining area. The kitchen has a big fridge with freezer, an under the counter fridge, a dishwasher and a 4 pit gas cooking hob. No oven. The dining area has several small tables that can be joined to make one big table in case guests would like to have a dinner together. There is also a fireplace.
On the left side of the hallway one finds the sitting room with sofa and two comfortable chairs. There is also a desk.
The first floor consists of a long corridor with the 4 bedrooms and in the middle the door to the outside stairs on one hand and the steep internal stairs on the other hand. Each bedroom has a double bed and bathroom with shower. The biggest bedroom has the bathroom on the ground floor (inside the bedroom there is a staircase leading down to the bathroom).
The three apartments are in the house on the left side of the driveway. The top floor houses one apartment and the reception area. These are on the ground floor on one side and on the first floor from the other side because the house is built against a hill.
The top floor apartment (apartment 1 - 45 sqm) has a living room with kitchen-in-a-cupboard with 4 pit gas cooker and under the counter fridge. No oven. There is a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with shower.
Apartment 2 (35 sqm) is on the lower floor to the left. There is a normal kitchen with under the counter fridge and 4 pit gas cooker. No oven. The bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom a shower. There is a small private garden in front of the apartment.
Apartment 3 (37 sqm) is on the lower floor to the right and has a kitchen in a cupboard (same as apartment 1). There is one bedroom with double bed and a bathroom (with shower). There is a small private garden in front of the apartment.
One can rent the whole house together with the apartments for 14 guests with exclusive use of the swimming pool. The three single apartments can also be rented separately, while the owners use the main house as a B&B.
