Private holiday rental La Camilla is a stone built home with terra cotta floors and wooden beams. The ground floor has a spacious sitting room with fire place and dining table. The kitchen is ideal, with good working space. There is a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, 4 pit gas cooking hob, electrical oven, microwave, toaster and more.
The ground floor has one bedroom and a bathroom (with shower). There is a washing machine.
The living room has two doors to the outside. The portico (covered open area) in front of the house has an outside table and 6 chairs, plus a swinging chair for 3.
The first floor of this private rental has two bedrooms. One has a bathroom (with shower) in the room and the other bathroom is in the hall. Both bedrooms can be made up as twins or doubles. The biggest bedroom has an extra single bed, making it suitable for 3 guests.
There is an outside staircase as well as an internal one (open stairs that take one up from the living area to the hallway of the first floor).
The garden of private holiday rental La Camilla is very well maintained and a real pleasure to be in. There are open grass areas, areas with trees, there is a vegetable garden (guests can use this) and the views are beautiful from everywhere, with Todi far away and rolling hills everywhere.
The pool is situated above the house. It is 4 by 8 and 1.50 m deep. A pergola covered with vines hides another outside table and the barbecue is waiting in an angle to be used.
This holiday home has fly screens in every window. There is a ventilator, cot and high chair. There is a DVD player and satellite television. A wifi internet connection is possible.
You can walk to Grutti (ten minutes), a lovely village with bars, restaurant, small supermarket and other shops. The next big supermarket is 7 km.
La Camilla is easy to reach over a small tar road with the last 300 meters not asphalted but in very good condition.
When renting more than one week, the house will be cleaned once a week.

Prices are all inclusive apart from final cleaning and the heating in colder periods. Bed linen and towels are provided (also pool towels). Animals are not allowed in the house or on the premises.
Pool is open from half May until end of September.
Rental period is always from Saturday to Saturday.

We very much enjoyed our two week stay at the Villa La Camilla in early October. Fantastic views of Todi and the surrounding countryside and great location in Umbria. I would highly recommend this villa.
It was very good having internet access. It was good to meet with the owner at check in.
Instructions on how to use the TV and DVD player would have been helpful.

We loved La Camilla -- the house, the setting and views, the grounds and the pool all made for a perfect family holiday. The only improvement I can think of is that there is a wonderful vegetable garden that we learned about from Camilla only on the last day as we were leaving, when she came over for the final inspection. She said we could have used it all along, which would have been a real treat for us. But that is a minor compared to the pleasure we got from the rental.

Our party (2 adults and 3 children) very much enjoyed our stay in Villa La Camilla. The villa was very comfortable and clean. The house was quite cool even without the AC system. We loved the delightfull garden and swimming pool as well as the terrific view on the surroundings and Todi, in what is in our opinion the most beautifull part of Umbria.

We were a party of 5, two couples & a single.Our stay at Camilla is rated at 9.5 out of 10. If there was a clothes drier we would say 10 out of 10. We liked the house, the view, the pool & the location.

We had a wonderful holiday. We all loved the house---very comfortable, gorgeous property and views, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and good location for exploring Umbria. Being close to the village of Grutti was a plus.
I have some comments about the house that I would suggest to you.
Firstly, I think the towels need to be improved. An investment in some better quality towels would be very helpful. The towels didn't dry well and we found that we had damp towels to use every day. That is really my only complaint.
Secondly, I think the directions to the house could be made more explicit. We both had navigation devices and they led us to a house by the end of the paved road. I think you should specify that after you turn on Via Ponte Pilo (sp?) gp straight and continue straight ahead on the unpaved road. That unpaved road will veer to the left and then you keep left when the road splits. The house will then be the first driveway on the left and is partially hidden until you make the bend in the road. Both cars had a difficult time finding the house.
My son found a TIM store and was able to have internet access. If that could be added to the house though it would be a real bonus. Americans like to be "connected" at all times---maybe most of your renters are not American so it may not matter so much to them.

I have extolled praises to my friends about Villa in Umbria website and about how helpful you were in working with us to choose the right property. It was a lovely house, we had fabulous weather, and all in all, we loved the week we spent at La Camilla. I would have liked another week there because we drove out almost every day to see the wonderful Umbrian towns and did not get to spend enough time just relaxing at the house.

The owners ask a downpayment of 30% of the rental and the remainder one month before arrival.
The security deposit is 400 euro, to be paid upon arrival.
