Comfortable private country house in Umbria for 10 people: La Dunarobba
The name discloses where this comfortable country house is situated in Umbria, Dunarobba. To be precise it is halfway between Dunarobba and Avigliano Umbro. Immersed in the countryside, on top of a nicely ventilated hill, not far South of Todi. Dunarobba is almost 1 km and Avigliano Umbro also (with shops and restaurants). The country house has 5 bedrooms, sharing 4 bathrooms. There is a newly built swimming pool and a lovely jacuzzi. There is free wi-fi.
One enters country house 'La Dunarobba' in the living room with big fire place, nice little bar, some sofas, a dining table (10 can eat here comfortably) and a TV. There is one other door to the terrace at the side of the house, where the jacuzzi is. The kitchen is on the left, with a pantry where the washing machine and ironing board and iron can be found. The kitchen furthermore has an oven, 4 pit cooker, a large fridge with separate freezer, a microwave and all that one can need for cooking a lovely Italian meal. On the ground floor there are two bedrooms sharing one bathroom. One bedroom is a double and the other a twin. Both bedrooms have a TV and DVD player. There is a door leading to the garden where the swimming pool is. The bathroom has a bath and shower (guests can opt to use the jacuzzi of the bath and the vapor treatment, which is included in every bathroom in the house).
Internal stairs (there are also external stairs) lead to the first floor which has a nice open area with a library and 3 more bedrooms. Each ensuite bedroom has a bathroom with aforementioned luxury showers. One has also a jacuzzi bath like the bathroom on the ground floor and another bathroom has double sinks. All bedrooms are doubles and have a TV and dvd player.
There is a small staircase leading to the loft. Here is a nice little gym with stereo, steps, a bicycle and muscle trainer. This loft furthermore has a small pool table. The views from here are marvelous over the Umbrian hills. Outside one finds some parking space for several cars, a terrace and a fixed barbecue in front of the house. At the side there is another terrace and open air jacuzzi and at the back the newly built pool and still another terrace under a nice canopy and big tree. All the terraces and the pool are for private use of the guests. The house of the owners is adjacent to the country house. The owners are very welcoming and speak English. They totally respect the privacy of guests and have their outside sitting at the side of the house that is not visible from the country house. Therefore, if you wish, you can have total privacy, but the comfort of English speaking owners who know the region very well and can help with any issues you might have.
