Villa Collazzone
Villa Collazzone is a luxury villa in Umbria (Italy) with private swimming pool and tennis court.
The garden is well maintained and in mediterranean style. Views are gorgeous all around and the villa itself is comfortable the whole year around. There is a wifi connection. The English owners have furnished the house with diverse antiques, making the atmosphere very pleasant and homely.
The spacious covered terrace has a beautiful stone table and heavy iron chairs with cushions. From here the views are very nice, over the rolling green hills. Next to the kitchen another covered terrace has a wooden table. Here there also is a pizza oven and barbecue made in stone.

One enters the premises through a wooden gate. There is ample parking on a well kept area with white pebbles surrounded by the garden. An old oak tree is standing to the right. From the front door one enters in the dining room and sitting area. These form one open space with high doors opening onto the covered terrace. The fireplace is surrounded by two sofas. There is a service bathroom next to the living area. The living area has a Bose ipod docking station with speakers. There is a TV (Italian only) and DVD player.
Behind the living area a light room can serve either as an office or as a bedroom for two. The comfortable sleeping sofa can be unfolded and left open to make this into a double bedroom with adjacent bathroom.
The kitchen is on the left side of the house, with high doors onto the covered terrace with pizza oven en barbecue. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything one can wish for (dishwasher, fridge, freezer, 5 pit gas cooker, oven, two coffee makers (espresso and drip), bread-maker, toaster and even an ice cream machine. There is plenty working space and a large cupboard to store everything.
On the first floor the master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. There is a bedroom with two single beds and an extra small bedroom with two single beds. The latter really only for children. In the hall a second bathroom has a shower.
The panoramic swimming pool is a bit down the hill, just below the villa, to be reached by some stone steps.
One side of the pool has an extra stting room and bathroom. The bathroom can be used when using the pool.
There is a lovely wooden table with some chairs and several recliners on the terrace around the pool. A huge umbrella provides the necessary shade.
The pool is 12 by 6 meters and between 1.2 and 2.5 meters deep.
The tennis court is set below the pool area such that it is not visible from the pool nor from the villa. It is fully fenced and nearby a covered area gives some shade and from here you can view the tennis court well. The owners keep some rackets in the house that guests can use. The ground of the tennis court is synthetic grass (Astroturf).
