Vacation home with 4 bedrooms, set in an age old olive grove and part of a working farm. The villa has all comforts of a home away from home and has a nice pool where you can do laps. The pool is separated from the villa by a fence. The views are fantastic from this vacation villa located in a quiet spot, surrounded by bird song, yet only 500 meters from an ancient little town, Penna in Teverina, with several shops and two bars. The villa sleeps 8 to 12 guests comfortably. Availability of this vacation home Where to find this vacation home Pictures and information about Umbria Rebuilt from the stones of a ruined farmhouse, this stupendous villa is an expression of traditional design and modern efficiency, merging with the landscape and framing its many vistas with local stone, terra cotta tiles, and chestnut beams.  There are 4 bedrooms (2 double and 2 triple), 3 bathrooms, 2 fireplaces, a livingroom downstairs open to the ample modern kitchen, and another sitting room with television upstairs.  Set into the hillside, the house has immediate access to the garden on both levels. A gentle path leads up to the magnificent "lap" pool in natural stone and sand-colored tiles behind the house, protected by a natural forest, dotted with olive trees, with an even greater view of the valley and the tile roofed back of the house and the limonaia (lemon house). The vacation home is ideally situated for all kinds of activities. One can go shopping for small groceries on foot and have a coffee in one of the bars of the beautiful medieval town of Penna. Orte is 15 minutes easy drive and from here the train to Rome takes you into Rome centre in 40 minutes. You can visit towns like Orvieto, Viterbo and Amelia all within half an hour drive. There are many old medieval towns and extensive woods, excellent quality food and wines. A stay in this villa makes it possible to attend to all nice aspects of life, like culture, nature, gastronomy and last but not least, relaxing. An excellent cook can be arranged, she can come and cook at the house, or also bring feshly prepared food and only finish the cooking for you (or you can do this if you prefer). The price of the vacation villa is 2000 euro per week in the high season. High season is July and August. In the other months the price is, with pool open (from mid May to end of September usually) 1500 euro per week and low season with pool closed is 1200 euro per week. Prices are not inclusive of heating in winter and fire wood. Also final cleaning is not included and the owners ask a security deposit of 400 euro.
