Villa Serena, beautiful country house in Umbria

Immersed in the Umbrian countryside, this beautyful country house is positioned on top of a 600m high hill, 2 km away from the ancient medieval village of Saragano in Central Umbria. The country house sleeps 8 in the bigger side of the house in 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The smaller part of the house sleeps 2 in one bedroom and here are 2 bathrooms. The property overlooks an ample valley and offers a fascinating eastern view from Todi to Perugia which can be admired each evening at sunset. The swimming pool, situated in a small valley next to the villa, also offers a magnificent view. It is possible to enjoy relaxing walks joined by strolling cows through the woods to a small private country lake. Built in stones with charming wooden beams on the ceiling, tiles and parquet, the property is furnished in elegant rural style, combining comfort, taste and convenience and consists of two separate houses which are autonomous but communicating if requested. The main house Ground floor: Entrance/living room with fireplace, sofas, TV and ample glass door  leading to a wide terrace with pergola and beautiful view over the valley. External shower available with hot and cold water. On the left of the main living room, large kitchen/living  room with raised fireplace, ideal for cooking, and glass door leading to the external dining area with pergola, equipped with large peperino marble table. Storeroom/washroom - service room - service bathroom (closed for guests, the owners keep their private belongings here). On the right of the main living room, charming suite with parquet floor, double bedroom with fireplace and ensuite bathroom with bathtub, studio with sofabed, closet/wardrobe, bathroom with shower. Second floor (also with separate stair access): Entrance/living room with sofabed and fireplace. Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (with bathtub). Double bedroom (twin beds) with ensuite bathroom (with shower).  The side-house: Ground floor: Entrance - ample living room with fireplace, four sofas including one french type sofabed, bathroom with shower. High season is from mid May to end of September. Other periods the prices are upon request, depending on the number of guests and the length of stay. The security deposit is 2000 euro. Use of cot and high chair is 35 euro independent of the length of stay. Prices are all inclusive (cleaning, towels and bedlinnen, normal use of gas and electricity (up to 300kW per week). Bedlinnen and towels are provided. Not included are towels for use at the poolside and eventual costs of heating. We will then double check whether the period is indeed available and the villa suitable for your number. The owners ask a 30% downpayment upon booking, payable via bank transfer. The balance should be paid at least a month before arrival. Arrival times are between 16.00 and 19.00 hrs on Saturdays, unless otherwise agreed (please let me know before booking if the arrival time will different than stated above).   Car rental
