Take the Italian Autostrada A1: Milan – Modena – Bologna – Firenze – in the direction of Rome. If you come from Rome, take the A1 in the direction of Firenze – Bologna. Exit this highway at the Valdichiana exit (about 90 KM after Florence coming from the North, or about 150 KM after Rome coming from the south). Having paid the toll you keep to the right and follow directions for Perugia, towards the SS75 or “Raccordo Perugia – A1 Bettole”. After a few 100 metres you will enter the SS75. This is the provincial highway (no toll), connecting Siena and Perugia.
Follow this highway in the direction of Perugia. After about 12 kms you’ll get to the exit for Cortona. Take this exit and follow the Sp32 for Cortona. In Camucia follow directions for Arezzo on to the SR71. Keep following until you see the sign for Località San Pietro a Cegliolo which is after Tavarnelle. Where the SR71 makes a curve to the left, you will go straight ahead on to the smaller road. You’ll get to a stop where you go right. Your destination is the first gate immediately on your right hand side.
