The Bellavista farmhouse near Todi in Umbria has three apartments for holidays that are rented as one private unit with 4 bedrooms for 9 guests. The hilltop position guarantees excellent views over the countryside and always some cool breeze during hot summer evenings.

The old farmhouse Bellavista sits on top of a hill. The name Bellavista (beautiful views) does not promise anything too much. The views are incredible from here. There are green hills all around with some small hamlets here and there. Fields with grain and sunflowers are interchanged with olive groves and thick woods.

The swimming pool (5 by 10 and 1.30 meters deep) is in a panoramic position and has recliners, umbrellas, and a nice pergola for extra shade. 

The nearest supermarket is in Ponterio, 8 km from the farmhouse. The center of Todi is around 12 km and there are many good restaurants. Montecastello di Vibio is about 10 km from the farmhouse and Massa Martana is 15 km. Orvieto is an estimated 25 km, Perugia 45, Assisi 50 and Spoleto 70.

This is the layout of the three apartments:

Apartment 1 (55 m2, sleeps 2):
Apartment 1 is on the ground floor with its entry via a large stone portico. Living room with dining table, fireplace, and sofa bed for two. Kitchen corner with big fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, and 4 pit gas cooker. The apartment has 1 double room and one bathroom with shower. 

Apartment 2 (80 m2, sleeps 3):
Apartment 2 is on the first floor, with a big private terrace under a few olive trees on the ground floor in front of the door. The living room has a dining table, fireplace, and two sofas. There is a spacious kitchen in the corner with a big fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, and 4-pit gas cooker. The apartment has 1 double room, a bedroom with a  smaller bed (1.20m), and one bathroom with a shower. 

Apartment 3 (50 m2, sleep 2+2):
This apartment is on the first floor and can be reached via a stone external staircase on the side of the swimming pool. In the small living room, there is a dining table with chairs and a bench. The small kitchen corner has a small fridge with a freezer compartment, dishwasher, oven, and 4-burner gas stove. There is one bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed. The bathroom has a shower.

Apartments 2 and 3 have an internal door that divides the two.

There is a fourth apartment on the ground floor where the owner lives. She is an elderly lady with her daughter and caretaker. They have their own space outside. The daughter is an excellent cook. In case guests would want a lunch or dinner prepared, this can be organized.
