Astonishing views, peace and quietness are the words that come to mind when arriving at this small scale agriturismo with two holiday rentals that are only rented together to one single group or family. It is in the hills between Fabro and Allerona in western Umbria, close to both Tuscany and Lazio.

At Agriturismo Allerona one can fully relax after a day trip visiting the many historical sights or after a walk through the surrounding hills. The large pool of 6 by 12 meters and 1.20 to 1.40 meters deep is fenced and from it’s sun terraces one has a wonderful view over the surrounding hills where one sees here and there the tuff stone, typical for this area.

Fabro and the exit to the A1 is at 10 kms, Allerona is at 8 kms. In an hour one can reach the Bolsena Lake in Lazio and to the other side the Lake Trasimeno in Umbria. Orvieto can be reach in 45 minutes and the South of Tuscany is at the doorstep with Pittigliano about 1 hour away and the natural reserve of the Monte Amiata also about 1 hour away via very scenic routes.

The two apartments of Agriturismo Allerona each measure about 100 sqm. They have their own private entrance and private terrace in front of the  door.

Parking is on the premises and there is a washing machine for common use. The last 3.5  kms to the house, the road is not tarred but in good condition and rather wide.

The pool is open from June until September.

Description of the two houses

Leccino, Sleeps 5+2
The house on the right has its entrance on the ground floor. Here also is the private terrace covered with a pergola. One enters the apartment in an open space with stairs leading up to the two bedrooms, one with a double bed and extra single bed and the other with two single beds. There is a bathroom with shower on this floor.

Down the stairs is another bathroom with shower and to the other side there is a living area with open fire place, a large dining table with chairs and a small kitchen equipped with a 4 pits gas hub, a large refrigerator, a dishwasher and an electrical oven. This kitchen has no windows. There is an extra sofa bed.

Moraiolo, sleeps 5+2
To the left side of the building is the other apartment which is situated on the first floor and has a large private terrace with table and chairs on top of the stone staircase. One enters in the living room with open fireplace and to the other side the dining room with table and chairs and behind it the kitchen equipped with a 4 pits gas hub, a large refrigerator and an electrical oven. This kitchen does not have a dishwasher.

From the living room a few steps lead up to an extra space with a half open floor that has a single bed. To the other side of the living room, opposite of the kitchen, are the two bedrooms and the bathroom with shower. One bedroom has two single beds, the other bedroom has a double bed. There is an extra sofa bed and a second bathroom with shower.
