Near Lake Trasimeno in Umbria is this cute holiday cottage. It has been recently restored and comfortably sleeps 6 guests. It is in a small hamlet between Tuoro sul Trasimeno and Passignano sul Trasimeno, a stone's throw from Lake Trasimeno.

Casa Vernazzano is all ground floor and has a private pool in the backyard.  The pool is 4m by 7.5 m and 1.40m deep. There are roman stairs in one corner and a covered terrace ensures the necessary shade on hot summer days.

The location in a small hamlet makes you feel a bit Italian amongst Italians. The small hamlet has no shops, but there is a bar a  few hundred meters for your morning cappuccino. A supermarket is 2 kilometers distance. From here one quickly gets to the highway connecting Siena in Tuscany with Perugia and Assisi in Umbria, hence it is an ideal location if you want to visit both Umbria and Tuscany.

One enters the house via a few steps leading into the kitchen. There is a  dining table with chairs, a sofa, and a television (Italian channels)  with a DVD.

The kitchen is well equipped and has a 4-pit gas stove, an electric oven, a large fridge with a freezer, and a dishwasher.

From the kitchen, an arch leads into the corridor where the three bedrooms are. One bedroom has a double bed. The second bedroom has three single beds of which two can be united to make a double bed. The third bedroom has a double bed, a single bed, and a wooden baby cot.

The two bathrooms both have showers, no bathtub.

Each room has its independent air conditioning that can be regulated with remote control.

There is no back door. To get into the garden one uses the front door. Behind the house where the pool is, also is a barbecue as well as a separate room with the washing machine. The garden is completely fenced and to the side of the house is a parking space for two cars. In case one needs more parking space there is a small parking lot underneath age-old olive trees, just opposite the house.

The pool is open from May until the end of September.
