The Cortona Limonaia is a small romantic cottage, just a few minutes driving from Cortona. This is an ideal hideaway for a couple, possibly with 1 small child. Neatly cared for and recently refurbished with a nice swimming pool in front of the door.

The proximity of Cortona is a great advantage: an authentic walled town, that became known to the world in the 1990s thanks to Frances Mayes. She is an American writer who wrote a bestseller about the construction of her Italian dream house in the hills around Cortona.

In Cortona, you will now find nice shops, bars, restaurants, terraces and an overall cosy atmosphere to spend many pleasant summer evenings. The city also has quite a few cultural highlights such as the MAEC museum in the centre where many Etruscan remains have been preserved.

At the Cortona Limonaia you are warmly welcomed by the owners on arrival. The cottage has a bedroom with a double bed, a spacious bathroom with shower, a modern kitchen with a dishwasher, a refrigerator with freezer, a 4 burner gas stove and an electric oven. Large windows give a lot of light and look out over the pool. Here also is the private terrace with table and chairs. The cottage has mosquito screens and air conditioning.
