Covid-19 measures

FOR TOURISTS TRAVELLING TO ITALY

From the 1st of June 2022, there is no obligation anymore to travel with your QR vaccination code. You can freely travel to Italy.

Once you are in Italy, you need to be aware that FFP2 mouth masks are still required when you have to go to a doctor or hospital. In all other indoor places, it is strongly recommended but not an obligation anymore.

Cancellations

Due to the uncertain situation in the world because of the Covid-19 disease, we had to be very flexible and will still be as flexible as possible in case you need to cancel because of travel restrictions caused by the authorities.

If you book now, we expect you to make an initial payment to confirm your booking. You can cancel free of charge until two weeks before arrival, in case of Covid-related travel restrictions.

Note that we always recommend you take a cancellation policy. Currently, insurance companies do not cover cancellations when caused by government restrictions and travel bans. In that case, we will refund you as long as you cancel two or more weeks in advance. Alternatively, we can reschedule your booking.

Several insurances now offer a cancellation policy that also includes the situation in which you fall ill with Covid-19 and have to cancel because of it. Ask your insurance company whether they also cover this illness.

The travel information on this page is subject to change. We try to keep this up to date as best as possible, but always check the website of the Italian government for the latest travel rules.
