Due to the uncertain situation in the world because of the Covid-19 disease, we had to be very flexible and will still be as flexible as possible in case you need to cancel.
If you book now for 2021, we expect you to make an initial payment to confirm your booking. You can cancel free of charge until two weeks before arrival, because of Covid related restrictions.
Final payments will have to be made two weeks before arrival.
Note that we always recommend you taking a cancellation policy. Currently insurance companies do not cover cancellations when caused by government restrictions and travel bans. In that case, we will refund as long as you cancel two or more weeks in advance. Alternatively, we can reschedule your booking.
Several insurances now offer a cancellation policy that also includes the situation in which you fall ill with Covid-19 and have to cancel because of it. Ask your insurance company whether they also cover this illness.
For tourists travelling to Italy
From May 24th tourists travelling to Italy are required to fill out the EU Digital Passenger Locator form. You can find the information here. On this website from the EU the information has to be filled out before entering Italy.
Tourists from the EU, the UK and Israel can travel in Italy:
- If they have been vaccinated at least once and have proof of this.
- Or, if they can show a negative test result not older then 48 hours before entering Italy. This will have to be a molecular or antigen test.
- Or, if they can proof that they have antibodies from a passed Covid infection.
Cleaning and disinfection
All house owners have been informed of the particular requirements regarding cleaning. On top of the usual cleaning procedures, a disinfection will have to be done at each changeover, following standards issued by the World Health Organisation and the Italian government.
