The name of La Favola speaks for itself: a fairy tale. The name was chosen for the amazing view over Lake Trasimeno, an ideal starting point to explore Umbria and Tuscany.

Villa La Favola is suitable for 6 guests and is just up the hill from Tuoro sul Trasimeno in the forest that covers the hills around lake Trasimeno. It is very private and quiet. An ideal place to relax after a day out in the area. The village itself is only a 5 minutes drive from the house.

The pool is 4 by 8 meters and 1.50 meters deep. From the pool area, you can enjoy the amazing views over the lake and the surrounding area.

The village of Tuoro sul Trasimeno can be reached by car in 5 minutes. There is a grocery shop, a newspaper stand, a couple of bars and restaurants, a butcher, and a bakery.

Driving distances from the house into Umbria:
Passignano sul Trasimeno 15 minutes, Castiglione del Lago 20 minutes, Perugia 35 minutes, Assisi 55 minutes, Gubbio 1 hour, Orvieto 1 hour and 15 minutes

Driving distances from the house into Tuscany:
Cortona 35 minutes, Montepulciano 45 minuten, Arezzo and Siena 1 hour, Bettolle/exit A1 25 minutes

The entrance to the house is in the living room with french doors into the garden. There is a large open fireplace in the living room and a dining table. The open kitchen has a dishwasher a refrigerator with a freezer, a gas stove, and an electrical oven.

Behind the living room are two double bedrooms that share a bathroom with a shower. The open staircase in the living room leads up to the attic where an extra room has been made with another double bed. In this room two extra single foldable beds can be placed, suitable for children. Next to this bedroom is a bathroom with a toilet and sink.

Below the house is a garage where the washing machine is. On the premises is parking for up to 3 cars. There is no barbecue.
