Agriturismo Gubbio, spacious apartments with large pool

This agriturismo with 6 elegant and spacious apartments is near Gubbio in the north of Umbria. It is set on a 100-hectare farm, with farmland, animals, and a private small lake. Agriturismo Gubbio is an ideal holiday spot and is surprisingly well-priced.

The apartments of Agriturismo Gubbio all have a private outside area, a  small kitchen, and Wi-Fi internet. There is an 18-meter-long shared swimming pool. It is easily accessible, 1 km from the main Perugia -  Gubbio road, yet quiet and very private.

The farmhouse is surrounded by gentle hills with farmland. One sees horses and cows (the stables are 700 meters away and not accessible freely), but also wild animals because the whole area surrounding the farm is a protected area where small wild animals are being bred (pheasants, hare, and small game).

The agriturismo is situated 10 minutes by car to Gubbio and 30 minutes to Perugia and Assisi. Saint Francis lived in this area and a famous path is passing not far from the farmhouse. 

Guests can fish in the lake on the farm or they can take a walk around the farm, which is a total of 6 km exclusively for guests.

The swimming pool is 18 x 6 x 1.50 meters with hydro massage, set between olive groves and cherry trees.

We can rent 4 of the six apartments to our guests. They are all elegantly furnished and have some original stone walls and restored antique floors. Each apartment has a private outdoor area or terrace where guests can enjoy a home-cooked meal, read, relax, or sunbathe.

There is a washing machine for common use. All apartments have wireless internet, at least in one room per apartment.

All kitchens are basic with a counter fridge, 4-pit gas stove, a sink, and no ovens.

The pool is open from mid-May until mid-September.

Driving distances from the agriturismo:

Ponte D'Assi with the first small grocery 5 minutes, Gubbio is 10 minutes, Perugia is 40 minutes, Umbertide with a weekly market on Wednesday morning 40 minutes, and Montone is 45 minutes little hilltop town. Good combination with a visit to the weekly market in Umbertide. Assisi is 50 minutes, Lake Trasimeno 60 minutes, and Fano by the Adriatic Sea is 1 hour and 15 minutes.
