This recently converted country home at the Umbrian/Tuscan border was the home where the owner grew up as a child. With love and attention she changed it into a comfortable holiday home with 4 bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom and air conditioning.

The location at only 10 minutes driving from Cortona is perfect to explore this lovely Etruscan town that became famous due to the American writer Frances Mayes who settled down here. 

The vacation home is located in the midsts of some fields in the valley of Piazzano. The main house is 124 square metres. The living area is on the first floor to be reached by a stone staircase and a long balcony. One enters in the kitchen and living area that stretches the width of the house. The kitchen is well equipped with electrical oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator, a microwave oven, and 4 gas pits to cook on. 

A corridor leads to the 4 bedrooms that are completely new and have their own bathroom with shower, air conditioning and television. Each bedroom has a double bed and there is a possibility to add an extra single bed in 3 of the rooms. In the main house up to 11 guests can sleep.

In the garden downstairs is the swimming pool of 8 by 4 metres and 1.50 meters deep. There are wide views over the surrounding countryside with amazing sunsets.
