Artisan and antique markets

Most artisan and antique markets are open all day.

Perugia

The market at Palazzo della Prefettura in Perugia is a lively event held on the last weekend of every month. Here, local artisans, farmers, and vendors showcase their goods, from fresh seasonal vegetables to handcrafted ceramics and jewelry. Set in the historic center, this market offers an authentic atmosphere and the chance to discover unique local treasures in a monumental setting.

In winter, the market moves to Rocca Paolina, where you’ll also find antiques and artisan products.

Bastia Umbra

Bastia Umbra’s market on Piazza Mazzini takes place at the start of each season (the Sunday before March 21, June, September, and December). It features a lively array of regional products, crafts, and local specialties.

Located in the town center, especially around the Santa Croce church, the market showcases fresh vegetables, handmade jewelry, ceramics, and artisanal goods.

Todi

At the end of March, Todi hosts an annual antiques market on Piazza Comunale. This event draws antique dealers from around the world, offering a wide selection of historical items and collectibles. It’s a fantastic opportunity to uncover unique finds while enjoying Todi’s stunning medieval architecture.

On November 11, the town also celebrates the **Fiera di San Martino**, beginning at Piazzale della Consolazione and extending to Piazza del Popolo. With over 100 stalls, visitors can enjoy local treats like porchetta sandwiches alongside a variety of products, from clothing and cheese to kitchenware.

Spoleto

Spoleto’s artisan market is held in the historic center on the second Sunday of every month. Local craftspeople, vendors, and antique dealers offer a mix of goods, including antique furniture, art, handmade items, and regional delicacies. This market is an excellent way to soak in Spoleto’s charm while wandering through its picturesque streets.

Città di Castello

The antique market in Città di Castello takes place every third Sunday of the month in the historic town center, primarily at Piazza Matteotti. This market attracts a diverse crowd, from collectors to curious visitors, and features an array of antique treasures, including furniture, curiosities, and old artworks.
