Though Umbria is the only landlocked region of Italy, we go to the sea fairly regularly. Both the Mediterranean and the Adriatic sea are at about 1.5 to 2 hours driving. It is always a pleasure to walk by the sea, looking out for shells, enjoy the endless view, eat fresh seafood…

A day by the sea is always a good day, in my opinion!
I am sure you appreciate the sea all the more this way. A special treat for us too with your beautiful images. Again! 🙂
Where are the photos taken? Love the details! Do you come to Le Marche?
That day we were in Torrette di Fano where friends have a camper on a camping. Now and then we visit them.
I’ve never swum at Torrette but often drive past it on the via Adriatica. If you get the chance to visit Fano it’s worth it; attractive centro storico and good shopping. Thanks for the Follow!
You’re welcome. At Torrette there are sand beaches which is what we prefer rather than pebbles. We were in Fano a couple of years ago, nice to stroll along the boulevard, but we thought the beaches were to crowed. It was August, though…
Senigallia has lovely sandy beaches and a centro storico which is a delight to wander around but it may be a bit too far to drive. I’m afraid everywhere is crowded in August!
