The heat of summer may have left us but we managed to capture some of it in our hot pepper harvest.
Though not as ubiquitous as in some parts of southern Italy hot peper is added to quite a lot of dishes eaten in Umbria.
Last month I found out my neighbour loves my homemade hot sauce, which is not for the faint hearted!
