While flicking through my pictures, or maybe I should say clicking, I came across these. They were taken in December during a walk on top of Monte Tezio.
From the windy top I could see Lago Trasimeno and the old part of Perugia.
The biting wind made me have the whole mountain to myself. It is never very busy on top of Monte Tezio. But then it is almost a 1000 meters high. Climbing it you pass something called a ‘neviere’. They used to store ice in it for the summer months. The ice was used by hospitals and well off people.
A great walk, be it rather cold.
